Having a fully functioning bathroom is a given for most UK homes in 2016, but as little as 200 years ago things were very different. If you were born in Pre-Victorian Britain, you were one of the lucky ones if you got to share an outdoor privy with 100 of your neighbours!

Thankfully times have changed but you may be unaware of the monumental shift that has occurred in our bathroom habits over the last 200 years.  Our infographic takes a look at the evolution of the bathroom since the 18th Century and shows how people have been keeping themselves clean (or not, in some instances) up until the present day.
