Construction site Health & Safety guidelines and legislation are in place to protect not only our employees but all persons on a construction site. By passing the extensive CHAS compliance process, we are now able to demonstrate to all Contractors and Developers that we adhere to strict Health & Safety policy and procedures and are mindful of managing risk to protect each and every site operative and visitor, within the parameters of our control as a sub-contractor to Main Contractors.

CHAS advise that the scheme holds benefits for both suppliers and buyers as follows;
- Suppliers show compliance with important parts of health and safety law (the core criteria described in the CDM regulations).
- On achieving compliance, a supplier is approved to work for all of CHAS’ buyers (Some buyers may require Accredited Status).
- Inconsistencies are reduced where some suppliers may be judged compliant by one buyer but not another.
- CHAS gives guidance on any weaknesses in a suppliers’ safety management, including how they can improve.
- Being a CHAS supplier or buyer saves both time and resources.
