Smart Mirrors

With technology continually evolving, we’re finding new ways to improve our way of living every day. Smart Mirrors are one of them. These modern mirrors have touch free, motion detection controls that operate the LED lighting using dimming and heating features. Pretty snazzy -all you have to do is wave at them! A Water Space

The ‘water space’ concept has been gathering momentum during 2018 and is looking to be one of the biggest trends for the year. The idea of creating a water space is that you have both a bath and a shower/wetroom in the same open plan area of your bathroom, or within a dedicated corner. It looks extremely clean and simplistic, but you do need to have a large bathroom to accommodate one..

Woodwork

Setting an outdoorsy Scandinavian tone to your bathroom; reclaimed wood is a new trend we’re likely to see a lot more of in 2019. Along with stone, wood is one of the most beloved materials used for interiors. With an association of the outdoors, it can give a sense of nature, comfort and warmth. There are many ways you can incorporate reclaimed wood into your bathroom, including a hardwood floor, tiling, sinks, baths and even toilet roll holders (believe it or not!). Speaking of nature, that brings us to our next trend of 2019.

Simple Storage

Have you heard of compact living? Another Scandinavian themed concept, it’s still very on trend in the UK. As clean and beautiful as it looks (particularly with a wetroom), the hardest thing about compact living is how to accommodate it into your lifestyle. In other words, where do you put your toothpaste, hair gel, hairspray and aftershave?! As it’s time for that ‘new year, new you’ mantra, why not take some simplicity inspiration and have a good clear out!

Black Bathroom Accessories

And finally, black. Soon to be the most talked about bathroom trend of 2019, it’s one of the largest home design statements to make a comeback in recent years. From industrial inspired shower screens, to taps, bins, baths and mirrors, matte black looks super chic in any wetroom and provides a stunning finishing touch.  If you’re looking at installing a new wetroom this year, why not take inspiration from this latest trend or have a peek at our wetroom design gallery for ideas.

#Repost @nsbremner ・・・ I love a collaboration and what a collab this project was. Harrington Gardens has been one of my most impressive developments to date. It’s a shame the market turned when it did and we haven’t been able to shift it. But we’re renting to a lovely family and returning funds to investors.
