It seems like only yesterday that we moved into our brand new office and warehousing premises next to Newlyns Farm in Hook and took over the day to day running of the huge new warehouse and the manufacturing of all the company’s wetroom grill requirements in-house. The CCL Group of Companies has continued to grow throughout 2015 and this has resulted in the need to expand our teams for each of the companies to meet the growing needs of all of our customers.
We’re delighted to introduce the following new members of staff who have joined the CCL Group of Companies during the past year:-
Tony Williams – Stock & Logistics Manager
Tony has joined the CCL Group as Stock & Logistics Manager and has the unenviable task of controlling the stock movements for the three companies in and out of the warehouse as well as managing our suppliers. Tony brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous role as Warehouse & Distribution Manager for Sto Ltd where he was responsible for all Warehouse & Distribution activities including Stock Control, Stocktaking, Production, Transport and Quality.
Married with two young boys, Tony spends quality time with his family at the weekends, going on days out and generally being “Dad!” A passionate music lover (he tries to get to concerts when he has spare time), he’s also an ex club DJ which led him in his youth into music production and sound design. To this day if he ever has any spare time, (which is rare) he gets involved in various music projects for a couple of record labels. Tony Williams – the CCL Group’s equivalent of “David Guetta!”
Sarah Methven – CCL Group Administrator
Sarah joined the CCL Group at the beginning of the year to provide admin support to the Office Manager and Book Keeper. Her role covers a wide range of admin responsibilities including processing of the company credit cards, credit control for CCL Wetrooms, processing of supplier payments and looking after the company fleet of vehicles to name but a few. Sarah also arranges a lot of the staff social activities throughout the year, such as our summer and Christmas parties, which are always eventful evenings!
Before joining the CCL Group, Sarah had many diverse roles including office admin, helping to run a family welding business and as a care assistant at a local college where she taught disabled students to live independently. By far Sarah’s longest employment was with British Airways at Heathrow where she was lucky enough to travel to New York on Concorde twice and was in the cockpit for take off at JFK!
A Mum to 25 year old twin sons, one of them being a semi pro footballer, the past 20 years of Sarah’s life have been spent cheering him on in muddy fields in all weathers! And you can’t get more dedicated than that!
Jo Hardy – CCL Group Administrator
Working closely with Sarah, Jo has just joined the CCL Group to assist the Book Keeper and Office Manager with all of their administration requirements.
Previously Jo worked as a keyworker at a local pre-school, where her practitioner role covered looking after the needs of the 2 – 5 year old children in her care. She was also an Assistant Facilities Manager at De La Rue for 10 years.
Jo’s spare time (when she’s not a taxi service!) is taken up with visits to the gym and long walks with her dog. Welcome on board Jo!
CCL Group Warehouse
Dan Larcome – Storeman
Dan has recently joined the CCL Group as Storeman, where his warehouse duties include the picking, packing and despatching of wetroom and structural waterproofing materials for customer orders, unloading and booking in of deliveries and upkeep of all of the plants, machinery and tools used on a day to day basis.
When he’s not at work, Dan enjoys watching football and socialising with friends.
Lee Jones – Trainee Mechanical Assembler/Machine Operator
Lee’s appointment as Trainee Mechanical Assembler/Machine Operator follows the growth in our wetroom grill manufacturing business, which now sees all of the stainless steel grill requirements being manufactured in house using our own Brake Press .
Lee’s engineering background fits perfectly with this new role, which involves the collation of all materials, monitoring production, quality control, product testing and development.
Lee can be found in his spare time playing Ice Hockey or following his love of sport, particularly American Football on TV.
Chris Cowper – Sales Office Supervisor
Chris is one of the newest additions to the CCL Wetrooms team, joining the company as Sales Office Supervisor and heading up the Sales Office team. The focus of his new role is to provide support and guidance for the internal sales team and ensure that they don’t miss any opportunities for business.
Chris has spent the last 8 years on the road performing a variety of sales roles for companies within the plumbing and heating industry as well as a brief stint in medical supplies. The new Sales Office Supervisor role was perfect timing for Chris who is now ready to come back into the office environment and take on the challenge of managing the expanding Sales & Marketing Team.
Outside of work Chris’ main passion is football, both watching and playing. He’s an avid fan of Millwall F.C. (I suppose someone has to be!) as well as running and managing a local football team. Fingers crossed you stay in the Premier League Chris! (or is that the Premier Leak?)
Matt Ellis – Sales Advisor
Matt recently joined the expanding sales team at CCL Wetrooms and has a customer focused role, providing technical advice for all aspects of wet room installation, including wetroom products and systems technical data. The role also involves processing all of the sales orders for his key accounts, building contracts and end user customers.

Outside of work, Matt can be found indulging his passion for music, sports, food and travelling by attending festivals and concerts, playing football and tennis competitively and going on holiday as much as he can! Or is that eating as much as he can? Whichever way, we look forward to seeing all of your holiday snaps on Twitter Matt…
Richard Molyneux – Contracts Manager
Richard has been with Wetrooms UK since the summer when he joined us as Contracts Manager. Heading up the Wetroom Installations team, Richard is responsible for managing the operations and contracts with our large house developers.

A keen music & film lover, Richard can be found in his spare time letting off steam at concerts and local gigs or keeping up with the latest releases at the cinema. Just call him Barry Norman with those spectacles..
James Chamberlin – Junior Contracts Supervisor
James is the newest member of the Wetrooms UK team and will be managing the current wetroom installation projects on site. James brings with him plenty of project management experience from his role as a Project Manager for a ventilation and air conditioning company, based in London.
An avid Formula 1 and tennis fan, in his spare time James can be found following his passion for sport on TV or perfecting his backhand on the tennis court.
Damion Colledge – Estimator
Damion is responsible for preparing tenders and budgets for both Wetrooms UK and Cast Contracting customers. The Estimator’s role includes providing design input at the early stages of a tender and technical advice throughout the process to our customers. In his previous role as a Technical Support / Service Engineer for a leading manufacturer of mains fed POU machines, Damion was responsible for providing technical support remotely and on site to customers.
Not one to sit on his laurels, Damion is a qualified plumber and F-Gas Engineer and is currently spending 10 hours a week studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering Degree with the Open University. Unsurprisingly, most of his spare time is spent studying, but he’s also known to partake in the odd beer or two. You’ve got to watch the quiet ones…
Annabel McDonald – Contracts Administrator
Annabel joined Cast Contracting in October and is responsible for providing admin support to the Contracts team to ensure the Structural Waterproofing projects are booked in and materials ordered accordingly. Her previous role at Cemex UK Ltd has given her a wealth of experience within the Construction industry, where she looked after logistics as a Readymix planner (Shipper) & Account sales. Within her role she worked closely with the sales reps, providing goods and services to DIY customers and buyers from both large and small construction companies.
In her spare time, Annabel enjoys socialising with friends and can be found relaxing with a good book.
A huge welcome to all of our new members of staff who have joined us this year. We’ll be needing larger premises at this rate!
